People's Park in the Sky is a historic urban park in Tagaytay, Philippines, originally conceived as a grand mansion called "Palace in the Sky" during the Marcos era. The structure was meant to host then-U.S. President Ronald Reagan, but construction was abruptly halted when his visit was canceled. After the fall of the Marcos regime, the unfinished mansion was repurposed into a public park, offering visitors breathtaking panoramic views of Tagaytay, Taal Lake, and the surrounding countryside. The remnants of the abandoned palace serve as a stark reminder of the extravagance of the past, blending history with nature. Today, the park is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors who seek a peaceful retreat with fresh mountain air and scenic landscapes. It features winding pathways, lush greenery, and a chapel known as the Shrine of Our Lady, Mother of Fair Love.
